This notification appears when your headphones try to reach the soundcore App but can't find it — usually because the app has been closed or restricted from running in the background by your phone's battery settings.
This happens when one of the following features is enabled:
-
"Hey Anka" voice wake-up. When this is on, your headphones are always listening for the wake word. This requires the soundcore App to stay active in the background at all times.
-
MFB (Multi-Function Button) long-press set to Anka Voice Assistant. When you long-press the MFB to call the assistant, the headphones immediately look for the app. If it's not running in the background at that moment, the prompt appears.
Note: Both features are off by default on the soundcore Space 2. The notification only appears if you have enabled one of them.
How to Stop the Notification
If you don't use "Hey Anka" voice wake-up, turn it off:
-
Open the soundcore App.
-
Tap your soundcore Space 2 to open the device page.
-
Go to AI Chat Settings.
-
Toggle off "Hey Anka" Voice Wake-Up.
If you use the MFB long-press for Anka Voice Assistant, either keep the soundcore App running in the background, or change the long-press function to something else: go to Control Settings > Multi-Function Button > Long Press and select a different option (e.g. Native Voice Assistant, AI Translation, or Nap Mode).
