If the volume on your Q31i is too low, it is usually related to device volume sync, system settings, wearing, or app permissions. Most cases can be resolved by following the steps below.
Before You Start: Please make sure the headphone is powered on and connected to a device.
Volume Too Low
-
Device volume sync: On some Android phones, the "Sync media volume with phone" option is disabled and hidden by default, and you usually need to enable Developer options first. To enable it: go to "Settings" > "About phone", tap "Build number" 7 times until the "Developer mode" prompt appears; then go to "Settings" > "System & updates" > "Developer options" to check whether the feature is available. After enabling it, go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth", find the connected headphone, tap the settings icon, and turn on "Sync media volume with phone". General tip: check your device's Bluetooth settings and make sure volume sync is enabled first.
-
iPhone loud audio limit: iPhone users should check whether the "Reduce Loud Audio" feature is enabled. This feature limits the headphone's maximum volume. Go to "Settings" > "Sounds & Haptics" > "Headphone Safety" to turn it off.
-
Compatibility: For computer users, due to compatibility, you may need to turn the computer's volume up to maximum first, and then adjust it via the headphone.
-
Wearing check: Make sure the headphone is worn correctly. A loose fit may cause sound leakage and affect the volume you actually hear.
-
Listening habits: Everyone's perception of volume is affected by hearing condition and personal habits. You can compare it with the volume you normally use on other headphones or speakers to help judge.
-
Switch the EQ: Open the soundcore app and choose an EQ style that fits your listening preference, or create a custom EQ.
