This guide covers the daily care and maintenance of your Q31i, including cleaning, ear cushion replacement, charging port care, moisture protection, storage, wearing precautions, and charging best practices.
Daily Cleaning
During daily use, the ear cushions may stay in prolonged contact with your skin and naturally pick up moisture and oils over time.We recommend cleaning the ear cushions regularly with 75% medical alcohol or a slightly damp soft cloth, and waiting until they are completely dry before use.
Charging Port Care
Dust or debris may cause poor contact or localized overheating. Clean the charging port regularly with a dry soft brush or a pointed cotton swab.
Moisture and Water Protection
The headphone is not water-resistant. If any liquid enters the headphone, stop using it immediately to avoid damage or safety risks and allow them to dry completely before use.
Long-Term Storage
If you need to store the headphone for an extended period, make sure to charge the battery once every 6 months to prevent damage from over-discharge. In addition, after the headphone powers off automatically due to a depleted battery, we recommend charging it in time—this helps extend the battery's service life.
Wearing Precautions
When wearing the headphone, pressing hard on the ear cushions may cause a brief airflow sound or a click from the speaker diaphragm. This is normal and not a fault.
Charging Best Practices
To protect the headphone's battery, we recommend using a 5V/1A charger. Since the headphone's battery capacity is relatively small, using a charger with too high an output power may affect the battery's service life. A standard Type-C cable is sufficient for charging.
In addition, we do not recommend charging the headphone through a computer's USB port, as the output current of a computer USB port is relatively low and the charging time may be significantly longer.
