When troubleshooting sound playing from the phone speaker, the steps vary by phone—below are the specific instructions.
-
iPhone: After entering the Emergency or Power-off screen and returning to the music player, sound may play from the phone speaker—this is a known system-level behavior. Try disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth, or factory reset the headphone and pair it again. Go to "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Audio Call Routing" and set it to "Bluetooth Headphone".
-
Android: After connecting the headphone to the phone or tablet, go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth", find the headphone's Bluetooth name, tap the settings icon on the right, and make sure both "Media Audio" and "Call Audio" are enabled.
-
Restart Bluetooth: Some data may be lost during the connection process and cause an issue. Turn Bluetooth off and back on, then pair the headphone again.
