If you have enabled LDAC in the soundcore app and confirmed the firmware has been updated to the LDAC version, but LDAC still cannot be used, it is usually related to your phone's LDAC support or a separate LDAC switch on your phone. Most cases can be resolved by following the steps below.
Before You Start: Please make sure the headphone is powered on and connected to a device, and that you have already updated the firmware to the LDAC version via the soundcore app.
Troubleshooting Steps:
-
Confirm whether your phone supports LDAC: LDAC is not supported on all phones. Go to the phone's "Settings" > "System" > "Developer options" > "HD Audio" > "Bluetooth audio codec"—if LDAC can be selected here, it means your phone supports LDAC. (If you cannot find "Developer options", go to "Settings" > "About phone" and tap "Build number" 7 times to enable Developer mode first.)
-
Confirm whether your phone has a separate LDAC switch that needs to be turned on: Some phones require you to manually turn on a separate LDAC switch in the system settings. Check the path above to see if LDAC is available and enabled.
-
Samsung phones: Samsung phones need to turn on the system LDAC switch before they can use LDAC. Please enable it in the phone's system settings.
-
Check the settings path for your phone model: The settings path may differ across phone models. Please look up the specific path for your model.
Note: LDAC is mutually exclusive with 3D Sound—they cannot be used at the same time. If 3D Sound is enabled, turn it off in the soundcore app before using LDAC.
