First, check if the noise is coming from the earbuds themselves, and see if it persists in Normal or ANC mode.

1. If it doesn't persist, the noise is likely ambient sound being picked up by Transparency mode, which is normal.

2. Transparency mode amplifies ambient sounds to help you stay aware of your surroundings. This can result in faint background noise becoming audible.
