Audio latency can be frustrating, especially when watching videos or gaming. Here's what causes it and how to reduce it.
Due to Bluetooth technology limitations, there is typically an inherent latency of around 200 ms. This is usually unnoticeable and should not affect your experience. Delay can also be caused by the connected device, the app being used, the connection method, or the network.
To troubleshoot:
-
Restart your Bluetooth device and the earbuds. Reset the earbuds and pair them again.
-
Test with a different device.
-
Test with downloaded media files, or try using a different music/video app.
-
If you need lower latency, you can enable "Gaming Mode" in the app. Note that audio quality may slightly decrease in this mode.
Turn off Dual Connections.
-
Note: Ensure your device is within the Bluetooth range and keep both the earbuds and device away from potential signal interference.
