Why are the soundcore P42i touch controls sometimes less responsive?
Ensure your hands are clean and dry.
Make sure you are tapping the touch area (on the logo).
For a double-tap, ensure the interval between taps is within 500 ms. For separate single taps, ensure the interval is more than 1 second.
Check if you hear the Wearing Prompt (a "dong" sound) when putting them on, and ensure Wearing Detection is enabled in the app (Settings > Wearing Detection). If it is enabled but you don't hear the prompt, the sensor isn't detecting your ear, and touch controls will be disabled. Try different ear tip sizes for a better fit to resolve this.
