It is normal for one earbud to use slightly more power than the other, since one acts as the primary Bluetooth receiver. Here's when to be concerned and what to do.
Typically, the earbuds provide about 8.5 hours of playtime in Noise Cancelling mode and 12 hours in Normal mode (at 50% volume). Playtime may vary slightly based on audio content and volume. Making calls consumes more power than playing music, which will reduce battery life. Note that a difference of less than 1 hour of use between the left and right earbuds is normal. If the difference exceeds 1 hour, try the following:
-
Ensure the protective film has been removed from the earbuds.
-
Clean the charging pins on the earbuds and the case with a dry cloth or a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to ensure a good connection.
-
Make sure the charging case has enough battery and that the earbuds indicate they are charging when placed inside.
-
Test the battery life while playing music. Since Noise Cancelling is enabled by default, switch to Normal mode first if you want to test the battery life for that mode.
