Weak bass is almost always a fit or settings issue. Here's how to solve it.
First, note that if the original audio source lacks bass, the earbuds will reflect that. To troubleshoot:
-
Ensure the charging case has enough power, then reset the earbuds:
-
Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open.
-
Press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes quickly 3 times, confirming the reset is successful.
-
Try playing different types of music and increase the volume on your connected device.
-
Find the ear tips that fit your ears best. A poor fit will prevent you from experiencing optimal bass performance. If one earbud doesn't feel secure, try mixing sizes (e.g., medium for the left ear, large for the right).
-
In the app, go to HearID > Default EQ and select the "Bass Booster" EQ profile.
-
You can also go to HearID > Default EQ to customize your own EQ curve.
-
Try using the earbuds with a different Bluetooth device to see if there is any difference.
