How to Fix Low Volume Issues on V20i

In our daily lives, we may encounter the issue of low volume from our earbuds, whether we are listening to music outdoors or when they are connected to our PC. This article aims to provide you with effective solutions to tackle the problem of low earbud volume, ensuring that you can enjoy clear and loud music, whether you are outdoors or in front of your computer.

1. What should I do if the volume of the earbuds is low when listening to music outdoors?

Open-ear earbuds allow us to better perceive our surroundings but do not offer noise cancellation, making them susceptible to ambient noise. When there's excessive ambient noise, the listening experience with these earbuds will be affected.

With that said, you could use them in a different environment, away from loud noises, for a better experience.

2. What should I do if the sound is low when the earbuds are connected to the PC?

  •  Make sure the audio channel is in Stereo mode when you connect to the computer.
  •  Make sure your audio player is set to maximum volume. The volume of the audio player and the computer need to be adjusted separately.

3. What should I do if the volume of the earbuds is low?

1. Make sure the earbuds' speakers are not blocked and try cleaning them if they are.

2. Try raising the volume to maximum.

3. To achieve the maximum volume output:

- On an Android phone, make sure the volume sync feature is turned on in the Bluetooth settings.

- On an iOS phone, go to Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety, and turn off Reduce Loud Sounds.

- Lower the volume by one notch on your phone. Then, set the volume of both your phone and earbuds to maximum.

4. Use a Q-tip with a bit of rubbing alcohol or a small, clean brush to gently clean the metal mesh filter under the rubber ear tips. This is best done when sound is playing through your earbuds at max volume.

If possible, please try to use a bulb blower to clean the earbuds - air will be pushed into the port/filter and any dust/dirt inside the earbuds can loosen and extract debris, then use a cotton swab or toothpick to remove them.
