Can I use the left or right soundcore P42i earbud independently?
Yes. Place one earbud into the charging case and close the lid to use the other independently.
Music controls while connected:

TWS (Both Earbuds): Double-tap the right earbud to play/pause; double-tap the left earbud for the next track (subject to custom settings in the app).

Mono (Single Earbud): Double-tap the earbud to play/pause.
