Yes, placing one earbud in the case and closing the lid allows the other earbud to be used independently.

Controls during music playback:

1. When wearing in both ears:

double-press the right earbud to play/pause music by default;

double-press the left earbud to switch tracks by default(subject to app settings).

2. When wearing on one ear:

double-press either earbud pause/play music by default.

3. You can customize controls through the soundcore app.
