What should I do when one side of Anker soundcore Sleep Earbuds 4(D1303) is quiet or silent?

Symptom: One earbud is quiet or silent.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Adjust the wearing position: when sleeping on your side, certain positions may cause the ear tip to shift and block the metal mesh filter, resulting in low or no sound. Try adjusting your head position relative to the pillow.

2. Check the Bluetooth connection: when sleeping on your side, one earbud may be covered by your ear, weakening or even interrupting the Bluetooth signal.

3. Do a deep clean for the earbuds: Drop alcohol into the earphones, let it sit for a few seconds, then clean it with a cotton swab. If possible, please try to use a bulb blower to clean the earbuds—the air will be into the port/filter, and the dust/dirty thing inside the earphones can loosen and extract debris. Then use a cotton swab or toothpick to take them out.

4. Reset the earbuds: open the charging case, place the earbuds inside, and press and hold the Reset button on the back of the case for 10 seconds.

5. Check the phone's volume balance settings:

  • Android: go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio and on-screen text > Audio > Balance.

  • iPhone: go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Audio Balance.

  • Samsung: go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing enhancements > Connected audio.

Notes: Moving the balance slider to the left makes the left earbud louder and the right earbud quieter. Moving it to the right has the opposite effect.
