What should I do if call quality on Anker soundcore Space 2 Pro does not meet expectations?

If call quality is poor, the microphone is not working properly, or call audio sounds choppy, the issue may be related to fit, microphone condition, device settings, app permissions, connection stability, or interference.

Please refer to the following information for common calling situations and troubleshooting steps.

1. Keep the Device Close and Reduce Interference

- Reduce the Distance: Keep the phone and headphones within 9.8 ft (3 m) of each other and avoid walls or metal objects between them.

- Move Away From Interference Sources: Stay away from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, and USB 3.0 devices, such as external hard drives, that can interfere with the signal.

- Check the Network Connection: Make sure your phone or computer has a stable network connection.

2. Check the Fit

Make sure the left and right ear cups are worn on the correct sides. Incorrect positioning may affect microphone pickup and call clarity.

3. Clean the Microphone

If a microphone opening is blocked by dust or debris, call quality may be affected. Gently clean the microphone area with a soft, dry cloth or reusable adhesive putty. Do not use liquid cleaners.

4. Check Device Permissions

Make sure the calling app has permission to access the microphone and Bluetooth functions where required.

iPhone: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and make sure the relevant app has access.

Android: Go to the app's permissions settings and make sure the required microphone and nearby-device / Bluetooth permissions are enabled.

5. Check Windows Audio Settings

When using the headphones with a Windows computer, make sure the headphones are selected as the microphone input device and that the appropriate hands-free communication profile is active, if required.

6. Temporarily Disconnect a Second Device

If the headphones are connected to multiple devices at the same time, temporarily disconnect one device and test the call again.

7. Check the Calling App Settings

Apps such as WeChat or Zoom may use their own audio input and output settings. Make sure the headphones are selected as both the microphone and audio device.

8. Turn Off Low-Latency or Gaming Mode, If Applicable

If a low-latency or gaming feature is enabled on the connected device or app, temporarily turn it off and test the call again.
