If you hear unusual sounds such as whistling, beeping, popping, or humming while using Noise Cancellation Mode, the issue may be related to fit, microphone blockage, movement, pressure changes, or the surrounding environment. 

Please refer to the following information for common noise cancellation sound situations and troubleshooting steps.

1. If you hear whistling, beeping, or other unusual sounds, try the following:

a. The noise-cancellation effect may vary depending on the fit, and you may occasionally hear a brief unusual sound. If this happens, take off the headphones, put them back on, and adjust the fit.

b. When using the headphones in a car or on a bus, road vibration or changing pressure may occasionally cause unusual sounds.

c. Do not cover the microphones on the left or right ear cup with your hands. Blocking the microphones may interfere with noise cancellation or cause feedback. Move your hand away and check whether the sound returns to normal.

d. Sudden changes in external noise may occasionally produce a brief unusual sound while the noise-cancellation system adjusts.

2. Why do I hear a popping sound when pressing the ear cups in Noise Cancellation Mode?

a. Pressing the ear cups changes the shape of the ear cushions and briefly changes the air pressure inside the ear cups, which may produce a popping sound. The sound should disappear when you release the ear cups and is generally normal.

b. If the popping continues after you release them, adjust the fit and wearing position.

3. Why do I occasionally hear a popping sound in Noise Cancellation mode even when I am not moving?

In Noise Cancellation mode, you may occasionally hear a brief popping sound during movements such as riding over bumps in a car, walking downhill, or jumping. 

These movements can momentarily change the seal around the ear cups. The effect may vary depending on your fit and head shape. 

To reduce it:

1. Adjust the headband for a more secure fit.

2. Reposition the ear cups so they sit evenly against your head.

4. What should I do if there is a continuous humming sound in Noise Cancellation mode?

a. If you hear a continuous humming sound in Noise Cancellation mode, especially around low-frequency environmental noise, check the fit of the ear cups.

b. Adjust the headband and ear cup positions so the ear cups form an even, secure seal around your ears. A poor seal may affect ANC performance and contribute to unusual low-frequency noise.

5. Why do I hear a whistling sound in Noise Cancellation mode?

a. A brief high-frequency whistling sound or feedback may occur if a noise-cancellation microphone or vent is covered or blocked.

b. Check the microphone openings and vents for dust, debris, or accidental blockage from your fingers. Clean them if needed, then try again.
