Near-field communication (NFC) is a set of communication protocols for communication between two electronic devices over a distance of 4 cm (1.57 in) or less. NFC offers a low-speed connection with a simple setup that can be used to bootstrap more-capable wireless connections.

Soundcore Boost and Soundcore Boost Gen 2 can support NFC. If the NFC function of your Soundcore Boost speaker does not work properly, please try these steps:

1. Turn on NFC and your phone's Bluetooth after making sure your phone supports the NFC feature.

2. Turn on your Soundcore Boost (it will show a flashing blue Bluetooth indicator), then put your phone in the NFC location of your speaker.

Note: If there is no flashing blue Bluetooth indicator when turning on your Soundcore Boost, hold the Power button for 4s to reset the speaker.

3. If the two steps above do not help, please check your speaker with a different phone that supports the NFC feature to see if it works properly.
