Understanding and Troubleshooting Headphone Noise Issues

Experiencing slight noise with electronic products is normal. Here's what you should know:

  1. All electronic devices produce a small amount of static electrical signal noise.

  2. In ANC mode, environmental noise in certain frequency bands is reduced, while noise in other frequency bands may become more noticeable. This can result in a slight, constant static sound.

Why do I experience sudden noises in ANC mode while on public transportation?

The noise-cancelling function of the headphones needs to detect the environment around you. When you make a sudden movement, such as going over a bump, the environment changes quickly. The headphones may not respond immediately, leading to a temporary delay in noise reduction. This can also cause you to hear sudden noises similar to a popping sound when passing over a speed bump.

To improve this situation, you can customize the noise-cancelling level in the app. Setting it to "Level 3 (Medium)" or lower may help. Rest assured, our engineers are continuously working to fix this issue and optimize your experience.

To fix noise issues, follow these steps:

  1. Check for Obstructions: Bluetooth signals can be affected by walls, pillars, appliances, Wi-Fi, and other obstructions. Avoid such obstructions for a stable connection.

  2. Avoid Electromagnetic Interference: Stay away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference, like microwave ovens and radios, and see if the noise disappears.

  1. Unpair and Reset: Remove the headphones from your device's Bluetooth history and reset them as per the user guide.

  2. Firmware Update: Upgrade the headphones' firmware to the latest version via the soundcore app.

  3. Check Connectivity Settings: If your model supports LDAC and Dual Connections, avoid using them simultaneously.

  4. Test with Other Devices: Connect your headphones to a different Bluetooth device or audio source and see if the situation improves.

  5. Wear Headphones Correctly: Check the L/R markings inside the ear pads to ensure they are worn correctly.

By following these steps, you can significantly reduce the headphone noise issues. Our team is dedicated to continuously enhancing product performance and improving your overall experience.
