The Main Differences Between Soundcore Rave Speaker and Soundcore Rave+ Speaker

People tend to use a loud party speaker when hosting social events. So we released a new speaker model called the Soundcore Rave+ and discontinued the Soundcore Rave speaker after gathering feedback from our valuable customers. Please note that the Soundcore Rave+ is also 160W, and the Max SPL of the output is 103dB@1m anechoic chamber.

Although the Soundcore Rave and the Soundcore Rave+ are similar in size and shape, they are different in the pairing process. The Soundcore Rave speaker supports TWS (True Wireless Stereo) pairing, while the Soundcore Rave+ speaker supports the PartyCast feature. You can pair two identical Soundcore Rave speakers simultaneously to create a stereo sound. On the other hand, you can set up a Rave+ as the primary speaker and connect it with more than 100+ additional Rave+ speakers to control the light effects and audio.

Note: The Rave and the Rave+ speakers are different models and cannot pair with each other. When used alone, the Rave+ speaker supports stereo sound but does not support stereo sound when multiple speakers are connected using PartyCast.

Despite differences in the pairing process, please also note that there is a factory reset pinhole on the Soundcore Rave speaker. Use a pin to reset your speaker to resolve power issues. Please refer to the picture as shown below:

Since the reset pinhole is not available on the Rave+ speaker, you need to hold the "D" button when the Rave+ is in Aux Mode for 10 seconds to reset the speaker (see the photo below). When you turn on the speaker and press the button marked to enter Aux Mode successfully, the light will turn green. Then, hold the "D" button for 10 seconds to reset the speaker.

In addition to the differences mentioned above, you can also notice the differences when you adjust the EQ mode using the Soundcore app. You can switch between custom EQ modes on the Soundcore Rave+ speaker according to your preference. There are only two options on the Soundcore Rave speaker-- Indoor and Outdoor EQ modes.
