You can control playback, calls, noise cancellation, and more directly from the buttons on your Anker soundcore Space 2 Pro. This article explains what each button does, how to switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes, and how to use features such as the voice assistant, and Safe Volume.
How do I switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes?
When you turn on the headphones for the first time, they enter Noise Cancellation mode by default. After that, they remember the last mode you used and restore it each time you turn them on.
Press the Noise Cancellation (NC) button to switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes. To use Normal mode, select it in the soundcore app.
Noise cancellation has 5 levels, with the highest level enabled by default. Level 5 is Adaptive ANC, which automatically adjusts the level of noise cancellation based on how the headphones fit and your surroundings. The other levels use fixed settings, so you can select the level that works best for you in the app.
How do I control music playback with the buttons?
Use the following controls for music playback:
1. Press either volume button once to adjust the volume.
2. Press and hold the volume "+" button for about 2 seconds to skip to the next track.
3. Press and hold the volume "−" button for about 2 seconds to go back to the previous track.
4. Press the multifunction button (MFB) once to play or pause.
How do I use call controls?
1. Press the multifunction button (MFB) once to answer or end a call.
2. Press and hold the MFB for about 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
3. During a call, press and hold the MFB for about 2 seconds to mute or unmute the microphone. A prompt tone will play to confirm the change.
4. If the headphones are connected to two phones and you receive a call on the second phone while already on a call, press the MFB once to end the current call and answer the incoming call. Alternatively, press and hold the MFB for about 2 seconds to reject the incoming call and continue the current call.
5. BassUp: Enable BassUp in the soundcore app. Once enabled, press the Noise Cancellation (NC) button twice to quickly turn BassUp on or off. When BassUp is turned on, a brief prompt tone will play to confirm that it is active. Press the NC button twice again to turn it off.
How do I activate the voice assistant?
When the headphones are idle or playing music, press and hold the multifunction button (MFB) for about 2 seconds to activate MFB's press-and-hold action in the soundcore app. Available options include the system voice assistant, Anka voice assistant, Nap mode, AI Translation, or no function.
How do I use the Safe Volume hearing protection feature?
You can enable the Safe Volume hearing protection feature in the soundcore app. It includes two types of protection:
1. Volume Limit (Safe Volume > Limit High Volume): Set a maximum volume level in the app, and the headphone volume will not exceed the selected limit.
2. Automatic Volume Protection: The headphones have a built-in protection mechanism. When the volume is within the safe range, playback continues normally. If the volume exceeds the set level, the headphones automatically reduce it to a safe level to help protect your hearing.
Note: If Anka voice wake-up is enabled, the hearing protection screen will not display the headphones' current real-time volume level.
