Understanding how to charge your soundcore Space 2 Pro correctly helps keep the battery in good condition.
This article covers how to check the charging status, expected battery life and charging time, what happens when the battery is low, and how to store and charge the headphones properly.
How do I know if the headphones are charging?
The red light stays on while the headphones are charging. Once they are fully charged, the red light turns off automatically. A full charge takes about 2 hours.
What happens when the battery is low?
When the battery level drops below 10%, the headphones play a prompt tone once every hour to remind you to charge them. To turn off this reminder, go to Settings > Voice Prompt in the top-right corner of the soundcore app.
What is the battery life of the headphones?
The following battery life figures were measured using an iPhone at 50% volume while continuously playing a specified track:
1. Noise Cancellation (ANC): About 30 hours with Wear Detection off; about 28 hours with Wear Detection on.
2. ANC + LDAC High-Quality Mode: About 20 hours with Wear Detection off; about 18 hours with Wear Detection on.
3. Normal Mode (ANC Off): About 60 hours with Wear Detection off; about 55 hours with Wear Detection on.
4. Transparency Mode: About 30 hours with Wear Detection off; about 28 hours with Wear Detection on.
5. Fast Charging: A 5-minute charge provides about 8 hours of playback.
Note: Enabling additional features in the app, such as Spatial Audio or a custom EQ, may reduce actual battery life compared with the figures above. This is normal.
How long does it take to fully charge the headphones?
About 2 hours.
How should I store the headphones when not in use for a long time?
If you plan to store the headphones for an extended period, recharge the battery at least once every 6 months to help prevent excessive battery discharge.
How do I charge the headphones properly?
For reliable charging, use a compatible USB charger and USB-C cable that meet the product's charging requirements. A 5V / 1.5A charger is suitable for the headphones.
Charging through a computer USB port may take longer because some computer ports provide less charging power than a wall charger.
