If Boom 2 Plus is already connected to Bluetooth and is then paired for PartyCast, double-clicking the PartyCast button will cause Boom 2 Plus to switch codec formats between PartyCast 1.0 and PartyCast 2.0. After reconnecting, some phones/computers may not automatically resume playback and may require the play button on the phone to be pressed again to restart the music.
