After shutting down Boom 2 Plus and connecting a charger, why does it take a few seconds for Boom 2 Plus to show that it's charging?
A few seconds delay in displaying the charging indicator is normal.
Since Boom 2 Plus supports Power Delivery fast charging, it requires compliance with the Power Delivery protocol. After reaching the voltage and current required by the protocol, the current is gradually increased to the expected value to prevent the charging current from rising too quickly. This is why it takes a few seconds for the charging display to appear.
