Yes. You can use either the left or right earbud independently (with the other in the case and lid closed), and it can still output stereo sound on its own. 

To use a single earbud:

1. Place one earbud in the case and close the lid. The other earbud will remain active and ready to use.

2. For volume controls (default), slide up on the touch area (logo area) to increase volume, and slide down to decrease.

3. Other general single-earbud controls:

Double press (left or right): Play/Pause 

Long press (left or right): Switch ambient sound mode 

Single press and triple press have no default functions, but you can assign them in the soundcore app.

Note: 

- When using a single earbud (with the other in the case and lid closed), button/touch operations may differ from that during dual earbud use. If you have set custom controls for dual earbud use, you will need to configure single earbud use controls separately in the app.

- Normal mode is not enabled by default in ambient sound switching. You can customize this in the app. Slide control cannot be customized and currently only supports volume control.
