It is powered by a 2,600mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery; additionally, you can also use the included USB C cable to plug in the Smart Safe (adapter not included) to provide constant power to the safe.
How long does the battery last on eufy Smart Safe S12?
The battery can last up to 6 months before it needs to be recharged in a normal usage scenario of unlocking and locking the Smart Safe on an average of twice per day.
Is the Smart Safe’s battery replaceable?
No. The battery on eufy Smart Safe S12 is only rechargeable and not replaceable.
How should I charge the battery?
Please use the included USB C charging cable with either a 5V/1A or a 5V/2A power adapter (not included) to charge your Smart Safe S12.

No. eufy Smart Safe S12 only works on a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
Which app does eufy Smart Safe S12 use?
eufy Smart Safe S12 uses the eufy Security app. Currently, the eufy Security app is available on Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS) for users to download.
Can I disable notifications from the Smart Safe if I choose to?
Absolutely! Simply launch the eufy Security app > Smart Safe Settings > General > Notification and then choose the types of notification to be disabled.
Can I have more than one Smart Safe installed in the same home on the same WiFi network?
Absolutely! You can install and set up more than one Smart Safe with either the same or a different Master PIN code in the app. It is also recommended to assign a unique name to each Smart Safe to easily identify each safe.
Can I share my eufy Smart Safe S12 with my family members?
No. For security purposes, the Smart Safe S12 cannot be shared in the eufy Security app. However, you can decide whether to share the Master PIN code with your family members or enroll a family member’s fingerprint to access the safe.

Please launch the eufy Security app > Smart Safe > Smart Safe Settings > PIN Code > select PIN Code Forgotten and follow the instructions to retrieve your Master PIN code.
