Dose Floodlight Cam 2 Pro support 5GHz Wi-Fi ？
No. Floodlight Cam needs to connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. For more details, please refer to Compatibility and requirements for Floodlight camera.
Does Floodlight Cam 2 Pro connect to eufyCam HomeBase?
No, Floodlight Cam 2 Pro does not require a HomeBase or hub to work; it connects directly to Wi-Fi. For users who have a eufy HomeBase and would like the Floodlight Cam to save videos on HomeBase, please stay tuned.
Can Floodlight Cam 2 Pro record 24/7?
No. Floodlight Cam 2 Pro records motion-activated events. The 3 motion detectors and extra-long detection range ensure that every event is captured. But it does not support continuous recording.
Does Floodlight Cam 2 Pro support Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit?

Is Floodlight Cam 2 Pro weatherproof？
This product meets IP65 (dustproof and waterproof) requirements. The Floodlight Cam 2 Pro is ready for inclement weather, such as heavy rain, snow, fog, and more. It has been strictly tested for waterproofing, corrosion resistance, frost resistance, and outdoor durability.
Are the LED bulbs replaceable on the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro?
No, Floodlight Cam 2 Pro’s bulbs aren’t replaceable. The LED bulbs can be used for over 100,000 hours.
How bright is eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro?
eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro has 3000 lumens of brightness. The color temperature of LED bulbs can change from warm to cold light (3000~5700K).
How far can the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro see?
Based on eufy’s internal testing, it can see a human form as far as 40 ft away.
Do eufy Floodlight LED bulbs turn on during the day when detecting motions?
No. In the daytime, the sun is full of light, and the lighting has no obvious lighting effect. It is more energy saving to turn on the light at night.
What’s the capacity of the internal storage on Floodlight Cam 2 Pro?
Floodlight Cam 2 Pro has 8GB of local storage built-in for motion-triggered recordings.
It can store around 10-15 days worth of videos (30 clips a day and 60 seconds recording of each clip).
The old clips will be looped recorded over by newer clips when the storage is full.
Can I upgrade the storage of Floodlight Cam 2 Pro?
No. Built-in 8GB eMMC on local storage can not be upgraded at present.
Do I need to subscribe to a cloud backup plan to record video?
No. Recording footage doesn’t require a subscription. Footage is saved to the built-in storage on Floodlight Cam 2 Pro if you don’t subscribe to a cloud backup service.

Does Floodlight Cam 2 pro have a warranty?
Yes. Floodlight Cam 2 pro has a 1-year limited warranty.
If someone steals the camera and I don't have a HomeBase will the video have already been transferred to my app or will the footage be lost?
If a thief steals the device and resets it, the data on the camera will be inaccessible. It is recommended to download important data to your phone, or back it up with cloud backup.

How does the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro’s pan and tilt work?
1. You can control the camera up, down, left, right, and center with the arrow keys in the live view page.
2. You can add preset locations to jump to view them quickly in the live view page.
3. You can use the panorama mode to quickly jump to the location you want to see in the live view.
How far can Floodlight Cam be placed from the router?
If there is a wall between the floodlight camera and router, please make sure the distance between them is no more than 50ft.
The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors, such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house.
Does Floodlight Cam 2 Pro support AI?
Yes, it supports AI human-detection and facial detection, meaning it can differentiate people from other objects. For more AI related features, please refer to AI Features for eufySecurity Devices.
Does Floodlight Cam 2 Pro support activity zones?
Yes, it supports up to two activity zones. Users can set activity zones to exclude unnecessary event alerts or recording of unnecessary footage.
Can I share my Floodlight Cam 2 Pro with my family members?
Yes, you can share your device with up to five family members. As the device’s primary owner, you can adjust permission settings for different people. Learn more about Share Your eufySecurity Devices With Your Family.
What's the range of the motion detection sensor on Floodlight Cam 2 Pro?
It can be detected up to 40ft.
Does the Floodlight Cam 2 pro save my videos so I can see them later?
Yes, all events will be saved on local storage and you can see them via eufy App. New videos will overwrite old videos. Your videos are stored in the Floodlight Cam 2 pro, e.g., for up to 90 days.
Does Floodlight Cam 2 pro have a dusk-to-dawn feature?
Yes. Through the eufy App, you can create a custom light schedule for your floodlight.
How does the motion sensor/PIR on Floodlight Cam 2 Pro work?
There are 3 independent PIRs on the left front and right of the device, which can be set separately for sensitivity. There are three types of sensitivity settings: standard, advanced and automatic.
- Standard: three PIR sensitivity set together.
- Advanced: three PIR sensitivity set separately.
- Automatic: the sensitivity of the three PIRs is automatically adjusted according to the accuracy of each trigger.
Hardware Installation
Is Floodlight Cam wireless?
No. The Floodlight Cam requires hardwiring and a junction box for installation. Junction box is not included in the US package.
Does the package of eufy Floodlight Cam include a Junction box?
- For US users：Please make sure you have a round junction box and wires already installed for the Floodlight Cam. The product packaging will not contain a Junction Box.
- For EU users：The product packaging will contain a Junction Box.
What size and type of junction box does eufy floodlight camera need?

Can I install a junction box of Floodlight Cam 2 Pro myself?
If you do not already have a junction box, one can be installed if you are comfortable handling wiring, however, eufy highly recommends that you engage a qualified electrician for this.
Does Floodlight Cam 2 Pro support battery?
No. Floodlight Cam requires a 110V-240V constant power supply device.
Is Floodlight Cam 2 Pro compatible with EU, UK, and Ireland voltages?
Yes. Floodlight Cam 2 Pro supports up to 240 volts.
Can Floodlight Cam 2 Pro be powered by a standard wall socket?
No, Floodlight Cam 2 Pro can only be hardwired.
Can I install Floodlight Cam 2 pro in different positions?
Yes. Floodlight Cam 2 pro can be mounted on a wall or on a ceiling. You can check the manual for detailed information.
What’s the height or angle should Floodlight Cam 2 Pro be installed?
We recommend installing the Floodlight Cam at no higher than 3m from the ground with a downward tilt not exceeding 30°. Otherwise, the detection range will be shortened.
