What is the cause?
The HomeVac S11 series vacuums are equipped with brushless motors that provide powerful and lasting suction. Normally, the issue happens when the vacuum is clogged inside or the filters need to be cleaned/replaced.
How to fix this issue?
Please try the following steps to determine if the issue can be resolved, or follow the video to clean the parts: How to Maintain Peak Suction Performance of HomeVac S11 Series
- Remove the floor brush assembly, rolling brush, metal tube, and dust collector to verify if anything is stuck.
- Confirm if the rubber piece located at the entrance of the dust collector is in good shape and it is not outside the dust collector.
- Remove the filters. Check both sides of the pre-filter and the inner side of the high-performance filter to check if the vacuum is clogged by dust/debris. Also, make sure both filters are completely dry before using the vacuum.
If the issue persists, please contact us for further assistance. Please provide the following photos in your email for eufy support team to further identify the issue: suction inlet that connects to the dust collector, the rubber piece located at the entrance of the dust collector, and both sides of the pre-filter and the inner side of the high-performance filter. It would be also great if you could provide a short video showing the problem.
Note: For the best suction performance, It is recommended to empty the dust collector after each use, remove and clean the pre-filter and the high-performance filter each week, and replace filters every 6 months or after every 50 rounds of cleaning.
