Please refer to the video below for detailed step-by-step instructions on how to set up X9 Pro's WiFi connection:
If it fails to connect to WiFi, please turn it on if there are tips below for troubleshooting:
- Ensure the WiFi network name and password are correct (note: passwords are case-sensitive). Please also try moving your device and the robot closer to your router.
- Make sure the location permission for the eufy Clean app is allowed. Please turn it on if there is a "precise location" option.
* For iOS:Settings=>Privacy=>Location=>Allow location for eufy Clean APP
* For Android: Settings=>Permissions & Privacy=>Open Location, then go back to Settings=>APPs=>Permissions=>Find eufy Clean APP=>Allow location
- Turn on Airplane mode on your phone. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi signal before setting it up. If you are using a dual-band router, please try disabling the 5GHz.
- Reset the robot’s WiFi. Press and hold the "Spot cleaning" and "Recharge" buttons for 3 seconds on the vacuum top until you hear a voice alert to reset the WiFi of the robot. Then start the setup again on your smartphone.
- A slow flashing light means "ready to connect," and a quick flashing light means "connecting." Only solid blue WiFi light means the robot is "connected."
After powering on the RoboVac and resetting RoboVac's Wi-Fi successfully, before configuring the network, in order to ensure a successful network connection, please complete the following connection preparation operations(Enable app permission); and do not change the setting before the network connection is successful.
- Enable Precise Location Services, which is used to scan nearby available Wi-Fi Networks and obtain the Wi-Fi list.
- Enable Local Network, which is used to establish a connection with the robot.
- Enable the Bluetooth on your phone and allow the Bluetooth permission for eufy Clean app.(For X8, X8 Hybrid, X8 Pro, X8 Pro SES and X9 Pro).
A reminder is the above connection preparation steps are all necessary. Each step missed will affect the whole connecting process. Please remember to complete each step.
If the tips above do not help, you can enable your phone’s hotspot and then connect the robot to the hotspot’s Wi-Fi via the eufy Clean app installed on another phone/tablet.
