What should I do if there are water stains on the floor after my S1 Pro finishes mopping?
 

Question 1: Why are there streaky water stains after mopping?

Common Causes:

  • A brand-new roller mop may either repel the water or absorb water unevenly when first used, leading to streaky water stains.
  • Mopping highly absorbent wooden floors with a small amount of water may leave streaks.
  • The roller mop may exceed its self-cleaning ability when cleaning very dirty or absorbent/repellent substances (such as flour, dust, oil, etc), resulting in streaky water stains.

Solutions:

  • Increase mopping intensity by switching to deep cleaning mode in the app.
  • Perform two deep cleaning sessions of the roller mop using the app, or manually clean the roller mop.
 

Question 2: Why are there residual water stains after mopping?

Common Causes:

  • Excessive mopping intensity with a large amount of water can leave residual moisture on the floor.
  • A dirty roller mop can reduce the ability to pick up residual water from the floor.

Solutions:

  • Adjust the mopping intensity. If it was previously on deep mode, switch to standard or gentle mode and observe if water stains still exist after mopping.

  • Perform two deep cleaning sessions of the roller mop using the app, or manually clean the roller mop.
 

Note: When using a new roller mop, please ensure it is fully saturated to avoid streaky water stains. Furthermore, regularly cleaning or replacing the roller mop is highly recommended to maintain the robot's optimal cleaning performance.
