If your X10 Pro Omni triggers an error message indicating that the roller brush is stuck, this might be caused by usage on high-pile rugs, a problem with the silver metal shaft, or hair entanglement.
Please follow the instructions provided below to troubleshoot the error:
-
Verify whether the robot triggers this error only on high-pile rugs. Please try running the robot on a hard floor to check if the error continues. If the robot functions without triggering this error on a hard floor, then it is probable that the error is due to that specific rug. It is recommended to set up a no-go zone to prevent the robot from cleaning that particular rug.
-
Gently rotate the silver metal shaft shown in the image below, which is to see whether there is no resistance or not, or attempt to see if the bearing could be pulled out a bit. Additionally, examine the outer surface of the bearing for any irregularities, like bulges on the bearing. If the silver metal shaft is defective, the robot needs to be replaced.
-
Inspect whether the roller brush is entangled with hair. If needed, please disassemble it to thoroughly clean the component.
Note: Both ends of the rubber brush can be disassembled for cleaning, but not both ends of the bristle brush.
In addition to the hair tangled in the middle of the roller brush, there are three other places where hair needs to be cleaned, as indicated by the arrows in the pictures below. There are grooves on both ends of the bristle roller brush to facilitate cutting the tangled hair with scissors.
Here are some other precautions in the cleaning process:
Please pay attention to the following video for detailed visual guidance on how to clean the hair tangled inside the sleeve of the bristle brush:

The roller brush sleeve has positive and negative ends. If it is installed in reverse, the roller brush will be stuck when rotating and report an overcurrent error. Please refer to the following pictures.

If the robot continues to trigger an error message indicating that the roller brush is stuck, and the previous troubleshooting steps have been performed, then the issue is likely due to an overcurrent from the roller brush motor.
