What should I do if my WetVac W31 emits an audible voice prompt that says "Please clean the dirty water tank or the sponge filter"?
If the WetVac W31 emits an audible voice alert of "Please clean the dirty water tank or the sponge filter" while the vacuum is being used or during its self-cleaning process on the charging base, please follow the troubleshooting tips below:
- Press the release button and hold the handle to pull out the dirty water tank. Empty and clean the dirty water tank thoroughly.
- If the dirty water tank is not full, but the vacuum keeps prompting to clean the dirty water tank or the sponge filter, please check to verify if too much cleaning solution was added to the water tank. It is recommended to not add more than 3 caps of cleaning solution into the water tank to avoid triggering voice alerts due to tiny foam bubbles being sucked into the dirty water tank.
- Remove the filter component and clean the sponge. Make sure to completely air dry all the components before reassembling them.
- Remove the rolling brush cover by pulling it out and please check whether the air inlet is blocked by hair or other debris, if yes, you can use the cleaning tool to clean it.
If the issue persists, please email eufy support with videos showing the issue for further assistance.
