When the S1 Pro is docked on the base station for dust collection, it should seamlessly transfer the debris from its dustbin into the dust bag. However, if you notice that debris is not being sucked into the dust bag and is rather leaking from the robot's brush outlet, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
The most common cause for this malfunction is a blockage where the dustbin outlet on the robot has misaligned with the dust entrance on the base station. If you observe and notice any dirt, debris, or buildup on the pins, gently wipe them clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning solutions, as this could cause damage to the electrical components.
Another potential cause could be hair clogging the dustbin, especially if you have pets at home. Please note that excessive pet hair can clog the dustbin, making it difficult for the robot to function normally during the dust collection process. Therefore, it is recommended to adjust the dust collection frequency settings. For homes with pets, it is recommended to set the robot to perform the dust collection process after cleaning an area of 30 or 40 square meters.
Please note that regular maintenance and cleaning of the robot's components are essential to ensuring its optimal cleaning performance and longevity.
