What should I do if my S1 Pro keeps bumping into furniture or walls?
If your S1 Pro is constantly bumping into furniture or walls, please check if it is due to one of the following scenarios:
- Small objects with dimensions less than 2.5cm in length, width, or height could be missed by the robot's sensors. If possible, please remove small objects from the floor before running the S1 Pro to reduce the number of small objects in the robot's cleaning path.
- Please note that objects/walls that are extremely dark or have reflective surfaces (such as mirrors, glass, and metal surfaces) can interfere with the robot's AI recognition capability, which may result in the robot bumping into these objects.
However, if you have already ruled out the above scenarios and the S1 Pro is still bumping into obstacles/walls, please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
- Check the robot's 3D MATRIX EYE SENSOR and radar window for dirt or debris. Please note that dirt on the lenses can reduce the robot's obstacle-avoidance capability. Please gently wipe the lenses with a soft cloth dampened with clean water. Furthermore, it is recommended to perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the robot's sensors to ensure its accurate obstacle-avoidance capability.
If you have any further questions regarding the S1 Pro, please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance.
