What should I do if my S1 Pro is not mopping an area that previously had carpets?
When the S1 Pro is asked to perform a mopping task in an area that previously had carpets, the robot will outline a map containing the removed carpets based on the current layout of the area. However, the robot will not mop the area where the carpets were placed.
To solve the issue of the robot not mopping an area that no longer has carpets, please proceed to the following steps to update the robot's current map:
- Select "Zone Cleaning" mode and include the area where the carpets were placed, the robot will then proceed to clean the selected zone.
- After the robot finishes cleaning in "Zone Cleaning" mode, please wait for the robot to return to the base station automatically. After the robot successfully returns to the base station, it will automatically update its map to remove the previous carpeted area.
- Start a new cleaning task after the robot's map is successfully updated. At this time, the robot will recognize the previous carpeted area as a non-carpeted area and it will be able to mop the same area.
By following the steps listed in this article, you will be able to ensure that the robot can correctly identify and mop areas that previously had carpets.
