What should I do if my S1 Pro does not charge on the base station?
 

If your S1 Pro cannot charge when it docks on the base station, the following scenarios are the possible causes:

  1. The robot is not properly docked on the base station, resulting in the charging contact pins failing to make proper contact and preventing the robot from being able to charge.
  2. The charging contact pins on the robot or the base station may be covered in dirt or debris, which can prevent the robot from being able to charge.
  3. Check the power cord on the back of the base station to ensure it is firmly connected. A loose connection can prevent the base station from receiving power.
 

Please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Manually remove the robot from the base station and then press the battery recharge button on either the station or the robot for the robot to navigate back to the base station automatically. This process verifies the robot is correctly positioned to ensure proper contact with the charging contact pins.
  2. Carefully inspect the charging contact pins on the robot and the base station for any dirt or debris. If any is found, gently wipe the charging contact pins with a clean cloth. Please refer to the following pictures that show the exact locations of the charging contact pins.
  3. Please check the base station's power cord to ensure it is plugged in properly.
 

Note:

  • When cleaning the charging contact pins, please use a dry cloth and avoid using corrosive cleaning agents to prevent causing potential damage to the charging contact pins or electronic components.
  • For safety purposes, please always power off the robot and the base station before cleaning the charging contact pins.
