Please follow the troubleshooting steps in this article if your S1 Pro cannot correctly detect carpets, causing the robot to lift its roller mop on non-carpeted areas.
Solution 1: Update the robot's firmware
Please update the robot's firmware to version V6.9.79 to solve the issue.
Solution 2: Choose "Normal Cleaning" mode

Open "Carpet Cleaning Settings" in the app and choose "Normal Cleaning" mode for the entire house.

Please mark all carpeted areas on the map using the "No-Mop Zone" feature in the app.
Solution 3: Customize room settings

Choose "Normal Cleaning" mode for the entire house.

Go to the main screen in the app and select Customize mode.

For rooms that need mopping, set them to "Mop" only.

For rooms that need vacuuming, set them to "Vacuum" only.

For rooms that have carpets and also need mopping, mark all carpeted areas on the map using the "No-Mop Zone" feature in the app.
Solution 4: Set specific room functions

Choose "Normal Cleaning" mode for the entire house.

Go to the main screen in the app and select Customize mode.

For all carpeted rooms, set them to "Vacuum" only.

For all rooms that do not have carpets, set them to "Vacuum and Mop" and the robot will perform both cleaning tasks.
