If your E28 robot is dripping dirty water, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
-
Remove the dirty water tank and inspect whether there is water in the dirty water tank or the dirty water sink. If the dirty water tank is empty while the drainage channel has water, it could suggest a blockage in the tank that hinders the flow of dirty water into it. Please ensure the dirty water tank is cleaned thoroughly and perform regular maintenance.
-
If the dirty water tank is full, the base station might not have successfully drained the dirty water. Make sure the dirty water tank is correctly positioned in the base station. A clicking sound should be heard when the dirty water tank is correctly locked in place.
-
Ensure that the foam pad located between the Portable Deep Cleaner and the base station has been removed. If the foam pad has not been removed, please remove it and make sure the dirty water tank is properly positioned.
-
Inspect the duckbill valve in the dirty water tank to check if it is loose or detached. A detached valve could allow dirty water to reflux into the trough and spill over during operation. The following image on the left shows a faulty valve, while the image on the right displays a valve in the correct position.
-
Remove the dirty water tank and check if the dirty water flows downward along the tank's base. If the water is flowing correctly, the roller mop may require replacement due to wear, or please reduce the water output level.
-
Inspect the contact areas between the dirty water tank and the roller mop for any remaining debris. Accumulation of debris could hinder the roller mop's motion, causing it to leak dirty water. Please note that it is recommended to regularly clean and maintain the dirty water tank.
