If your E20 robot vacuum fails to return to the base station, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
-
Verify that the indicator light on the base station displays a steady light. If the light is not lit, ensure that one end of the power cord is firmly connected to the base station and the other end is plugged into a functioning outlet.
-
Confirm the base station is installed against a wall and at an easily accessible location. Remove obstacles within 0.5 meters to the right and left side and 1.5 meters from the front of the base station.
-
We recommend placing the base station on a wooden or tiled floor. If you wish to set it up on a carpet, please ensure the dock assist mat is also installed.
-
Make sure the dock assist mat is not deformed. If the dock assist mat becomes deformed, please replace it to ensure the proper operation of the base station.
-
Ensure the infrared lenses on the base station and the robot are clear of foreign objects. Please remove any foreign objects and clean the lenses.
-
Carefully turn the robot vacuum upside down to check if the brush guard is properly installed. Please refer to the image below.
