Smart scales use AAA batteries. Smart Scale (T9140), Smart Scale P2 series and P3 need 4 batteries, while the Smart Scale C1 (T9146) and Smart Scale P1 (T9147) only need 3 batteries.

Batteries for T9140, T9146, T9147 last for about 1 year, and batteries for the Smart Scale P2 series last for about half of a year, while for P3 lasts for 3-4 months.
