What Should I Do if My HomeVac S11 Series Vacuum’s Indicator Is Abnormal?

The HomeVac S11 will display faulty indicators when the vacuum is not charged, clogged, or has sucked in liquids, etc.

  • When you try to power on the vacuum, all three indicator lights on the HomeVac S11 flashes in blue.

This means the battery is completely drained. Please make sure that you are using the original AC adapter (30V, 800mA) that came with the vacuum to charge your S11 HomeVac vacuum.

Also, try a different wall outlet to charge the vacuum for 3.5 hours.

If the issue persists, please contact us and include a video showing the problem and a picture showing the information on the AC adapter used.

  • While charging, no indicator or the charging indicator flashes a few times and then turns off.

This issue happens when the wrong AC adapter is used or the AC adapter may be defective.

If you are using the correct AC Adapter (30V, 800mA), please contact us and include a video showing the problem and a picture showing the information on the AC adapter used.

If the original AC adapter is lost, you can purchase a replacement AC adapter by visiting the following links:

  • While charging, no charging indicator lights up or it shows a flashing red indicator light 12 times

This issue may be due to the battery or the metal pins on the battery are wet. If the metal pins on the battery was not wet, please contact us and include a video showing the problem and the status of the metal pins on the battery.

  • While vacuuming or when you try to power on the vacuum, it displays a flashing red indicator light.

This issue happens when the vacuum is clogged or has sucked in liquids. Please try the following steps to clean all of the vacuum parts or refer to the video: How to Maintain Peak Suction Performance of HomeVac S11 Series

  1. Remove the floor brush assembly, rolling brush, metal tube, and dust collector to verify if anything is stuck.

  1.  Confirm if the rubber piece located at the entrance of the dust collector is in good shape and it is not outside the dust collector.

  1.  Remove the filters. Check both sides of the pre-filter and the inner side of the high-performance filter to check if the vacuum is clogged by dust/debris. Also, make sure both filters are completely dry before using the vacuum.

Note: For the best suction performance, It is recommended to empty the dust collector after each use, remove and clean the pre-filter and the high-performance filter each week, and replace filters every 6 months or after every 50 rounds of cleaning.
