If you're experiencing an issue with your Wall Light Cam triggering too many false detections, there are several steps you can take to rectify the issue.
1. Switch to Human Mode
If you only need the camera to detect human movements, you can switch the camera to Human mode. This will significantly reduce the number of false motion detection events. Steps: Device tab > “...”icon > Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Types > Human.
2. Lower the Motion Detection Sensitivity
If the camera is too sensitive, it may be picking up on unnecessary movements. You can adjust the sensitivity level according to your preference. Steps: Device tab > “...”icon > Settings > Motion Detection > Motion Sensitivity.
3. Set Up an Activity Zone
By setting up an activity zone, you can limit the camera's field of view to a specific area of interest. Steps: Device tab > “...”icon > Settings > Motion Detection > Activity Zone.
4. Avoid Certain Scenarios
Try to avoid installing your Wall Light Cam in areas where it can pick up on moving tree branches, the sun, or vehicles and pedestrians in areas you don't need to monitor.
If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, please contact us and provide the following information for further analysis:
1. A screenshot of your activity zone, if one is set up. You can find this information by going to the Device tab > "..." icon > Settings > Motion Detection > Activity Zone.
2. A screenshot of your Motion Detection settings.
3. A screenshot or video of the events that were falsely triggered.
