If your eufy Garage-Control Cam triggers too many false detection events, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.

1. Please try lowering the motion detection sensitivity level. In order to set a desired detection range, it is recommended to set your preferred sensitivity level according to the sensitivity setup guide in the eufy Security app.

2. If you do not need the camera to detect any motion events except people’s movements, please choose Human Only under the Detection Type in Motion Detection settings. This will lead to a decrease in false motion detection due to the camera’s AI system.

3. Set up an activity zone to focus on monitoring your area of interest and not the camera’s entire field of view.

4. Try to physically adjust the camera’s viewing angle.

5. Please try to avoid the following scenarios in the camera’s field of view:

• Moving tree branches or flags.
• Sun in the sky.
• Vehicles or pedestrians in areas you do not need to monitor.
