Tips for the 3-in-1 E20 Robot Vacuum to Build a Map Quickly

To build a map for the first time:

  • Activate the robot vacuum while it is at the base station;

  • Open the doors of all the rooms that you want the robot vacuum to clean;

  • Remove objects (like wires, toys, etc.) on the floor that may trap/entangle the robot vacuum;

  • Do not manually move the robot vacuum during the mapping process;

  • Allow the robot vacuum to return to the base station automatically.

Here are additional tips on using the Map feature:

  1. To operate the robot vacuum for the first time, press the "Start" button on the app's main screen. The robot will start from the base station and initiate the mapping process. After the mapping process is finished, the robot will begin a new cleaning cycle.

  1. Mapping only: To initiate mapping, click on "Settings" in the upper right corner of the map, choose "Map Management," and then select "Quick Mapping." The robot vacuum will start from the base station and begin the mapping process. After the mapping process is finished, the robot vacuum will return to its base station to recharge. In this situation, a new cleaning cycle will not begin.

  2. To initiate mapping, click on "Settings" in the upper right corner of the map, choose "Map Management," click the "+" icon in the upper right corner, and then select "Quick Mapping." The robot vacuum will start from the base station and begin the mapping process. After the mapping process is finished, the robot will begin a new cleaning cycle.

Note: For thresholds with a height greater than 2cm, it is recommended to create "No-go" zones or keep the doors closed while the robot vacuum performs its mapping process. Additionally, the robot vacuum should steer clear of wet areas, such as bathrooms.
