The X10 Pro Omni: Troubleshooting Weak Suction Power and Poor Cleaning Performance

If your X10 Pro Omni is experiencing issues with weak suction power and poor cleaning performance, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issues. This article is designed to provide troubleshooting tips on how to ensure your X10 Pro Omni can achieve its optimal cleaning performance:

  1. Checking the Filter for Blockages: A clogged filter can significantly reduce the suction power of your X10 Pro Omni. Please inspect the filter for any severe blockages and wash the filter thoroughly. After washing the filter, please make sure that the filter is completely dry before placing it back into the robot. Additionally, if the filter has been used for more than six months and there is no noticeable improvement in suction power after washing the filter, it is time to replace the filter with a new one.

  1. Cleaning the Dustbin: A dirty dustbin can prevent your X10 Pro Omni from collecting dust and debris efficiently. Simply remove the dustbin from the robot and empty it, then clean the dustbin to make sure there is no residual debris.

  1. Increasing the Robot's Suction Power: If the robot is still unable to achieve optimal cleaning results, please try increasing the suction power setting. Additionally, if your X10 Pro Omni is cleaning on carpets, it is highly recommended to activate the BoostIQ feature under the Carpet Cleaning mode to enhance the robot's cleaning performance on carpets.

  1. Inspecting and Cleaning the Roller Brush: Sometimes, the comb teeth on the roller brush can become filled with debris, which can prevent the roller brush from rotating smoothly while the robot cleans. Please inspect and clean the comb teeth with running tap water and let the roller brush dry completely before inserting it into the robot.

  1. Replacing the Side Brush: Check the side brush for any significant bristle loss. If the bristles are severely worn out, it is time to replace the side brush with a new one to maintain the robot's effective edge-cleaning performance.

  1. Examining and Replacing the Roller Brush Guard's Rubber Strip: Carefully inspect the rubber strip on the roller brush guard for any signs of damage. If the rubber strip is damaged, it can drastically impact the robot's cleaning performance. Please replace the rubber strip with a new one if necessary.

By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to successfully restore the cleaning performance of your X10 Pro Omni. Please note that regular maintenance and timely replacement of the robot's accessories can help keep your robot running smoothly for years to come.
