Notification of SoloCam E42

Why can't I receive push notifications?

1. Please make sure you have enabled notifications in your phone's settings. You can go to your phone's settings > Notifications > Enable EufySecurity notifications.

2. Please make sure you have added EufySecurity to the app whitelist in your phone's settings for some brand’s Android phone (Samsung ect.).

3. Please make sure you have enabled motion detection in your camera's setting. You can go to check from the menu Camera Settings> Motion Detection.

4. Please make sure you have enabled push notification in the Security mode you have selected. You can go to Security/Mode > Home/Away > Select Camera/Sensor Name > Push Notification.

 

Why can't I receive push notifications only on Android phones?

To make sure you can get the notifications from eufy Security, please enable below permissions settings. If you can get notifications, please ignore this guide as below:

1. Add to unmonitored apps

 Go to phone Device Management > Battery > Unmonitored apps > Add apps > Select and add eufy Security.

2. Allow Notification

Go to phone settings > Notifications > Allow eufy Security to enable notification.

Or you can go to eufy Security app sidebar > Settings > App Permissions > Notifications > Turn on switch.

3. Enable Notification for Mode

Please go to eufy Security app > Select Security tab > Select one mode and edit > Select Push Notification.

 

What can I do if I receive too many false alarms?

You can click on the blank area of the schedule time table or click on the “+” in the upper right corner to add a new schedule time period.

Supports up to 3 custom modes. At the same time, the new Disarmed mode will be added, and the user can disarm all devices with one click. The schedule background table will set to Disarmed mode. You can add a mode to the background table, and the unset time periods will set to Disarmed mode.

If there is a schedule with conflicting time periods, the new Schedule will directly overwrite the old schedule.
