Is the S1 robot safe to run on uneven surfaces or close to the stairs?

The S1 robot is equipped with six anti-drop sensors that are strategically placed at the front, sides, and rear of the robot, which can safely prevent it from falling down the stairs. These sensors can detect drops of 11.5 cm or greater, ensuring that the S1 robot does not fall down the stairs or from surfaces with significant height differences.

The following are the positions of the six anti-drop sensors located at the bottom of the S1 robot.

However, if your home has steps or ledges lower than 11.5 cm, we recommend setting up "No-go" zones or virtual walls to prevent the S1 robot from attempting to navigate those areas and to ensure the safety and cleaning efficiency of your S1 robot.

If you have any other questions regarding the S1 robot, please don't hesitate to contact us for further assistance.
