Successfully detecting and avoiding obstacles during cleaning sessions is one of the basic functions of a robot vacuum. Generally, the E20 robot vacuum can avoid objects with a height of 15mm or higher, including toys, wires, socks, shoes, etc.; however, objects that lie flat on the floor cannot be detected or avoided by the robot.
Note:
-
On the floor, the robot can avoid objects with a height of 15mm or more. However, on the carpet, because the robot's wheels are caught in the carpet, the movement of the machine fluctuates greatly, and the obstacle avoidance function of the machine will be affected so that it can only recognize objects with a height of 25mm or more.
-
For carpets with a thickness of less than 15mm, the machine will clean it together with the floor. For carpets with a thickness of 15mm-25mm, the machine will clean the floor before the carpet. For small carpets with a thickness of 15mm-25mm and an area of less than 70cm*70cm, the machine will not clean, and you need to use the “edit map” function to draw the carpet on the map to clean it.
