Protection Plan Introduction

Subscribe to one of our all-new eufy Security Professional Monitoring services and receive easy access to emergency dispatch services and support, when you need it most. The protection plan helps protect your loved ones, pets, and belongings 24/7 with trained dispatchers while you are away for added peace of mind. It’s only available in the United States at present.

 

Subscribe to the Monitoring Service

You are able to find it in the Service center and there are two programs available now. One is Basic, another is plus service. 

 

To subscribe via the app, go to Side Menu > Protection Plan. For iOS users, check your email and follow the guide to subscribe.

To subscribe via the eufy Security web portal, go to Service Center > Protection Plan.

To subscribe via eufylife.com, go to Security > Protection Plan.

Note:

1. Please update your HomeBase firmware to v2.1.6 or above for the Professional Monitoring Service features.

2. Please be on alert for the message or phone calls from the monitoring center. Check the blacklist on your phone in case you missed the call.

3. The Plus package does not support Smart Lock currently.

Plus protection plan service can automatically alarm without clicking the “request help” button, and the automatic alarm time depends on the delay time setting. The basic protection plan service does not have this feature.

 

Activate Your Protection Plan

If you haven’t activated your protection plan, here is detailed guidance about how to activate it.

1. Agree with the Privacy Policy.

2. Edit your Contact Information, including your name and phone number. When there is an emergency, the monitoring center and police will contact you through this information.

3. Add your Address. If an emergency is confirmed, the monitoring center will directly notify the policy to arrive at the address.

4. Add the PIN code. If your alarm is triggered, you and your emergency contact will need it to verify your identity with the monitoring center using a PIN code. You need to give the PIN code to all of your emergency contacts. If you forget the PIN code, you can always use the App to create a new one. 

5. Select Device. Please select the device installed at this address.

6. Add Emergency Contacts.

7. Enable Practice Mode.

8. Activation accomplished.

 

Note:

One account can activate multiple protection plan package.

One security device can only be activated by one protection plan packages.

 

Practice Mode

After completing the initialization process, a 7-day practice mode will be activated automatically. All emergency requests will be deemed as practice and will not be sent to first responders. Feel free to test your alarm system as much as you want and then cancel the practice mode when you feel comfortable.

 

Home Insurance Discount

If you purchased the Plus package, you are able to obtain an alarm monitoring certificate, which you can provide to your insurance company for a potential discount on your homeowners or renters insurance policy.

Note: Please know that your name and Phone number will not be listed on the certificate. Only the mailing address that you registered in the App will show up on the certificate.

If the Plus package is purchased via Google Pay, Apple Pay or eufy official website, you can go to eufy app for downloading:

1. Open the eufy app.

2. Slide the Side Menu and tap My Service for your Eufy Protection Plan Plus.

3. Tap on Insurance Certificate under “Optional Settings”.


If the Plus package is purchased via Strip (Web Portal), you can go to eufySecurity Web Portal for downloading:

1. Log in eufySecurity Web Portal:https://mysecurity.eufylife.com/#/login?type=/

2. Side Menu> Additional Service> My Service.

3. "Send Certification"



 

Emergency Contact

The emergency contact is when calling the alarm service of the Noonlight monitoring center, Noonlight can contact the owner and emergency contacts (usually family members), and these members can enter the PIN code in the SMS or phone to cancel the alarm.

 

The owner and the emergency contact share one PIN code, and the owner should share the PIN code with other emergency contacts.

 

Cancel the Protection Plan

You can cancel the monitoring service subscription via eufySecurity App or via the web portal. Steps in App: Go to Side Menu > My Services.
 

If you cancel the monthly subscription, the subscription will no longer be automatically renewed, however, the monthly fee will not be refunded. If you cancel the annual subscription, the monthly fee will be deducted and the remaining fee will be refunded. Please contact us for refund-related issues.

 

FAQ

I have eufy products at more than one address. Does the plus plan cover them all?

Each Protection Plan Subscription only covers one address. You can subscribe to an additional plan if you have more than one address to cover.

 

How does 24/7 monitoring work?

When you subscribe to a eufy Protection Plan, your house will be under 24/7 security protection. With the Plus Plan, our team will be alerted when your alarm system detects a security issue. We’ll give you a call/message from a dedicated support line to see if you need an emergency response. If you give the go-ahead or can’t answer, the team will dispatch emergency responders like the police department. You can also immediately request these emergency services via the Panic Button on Keypad or App.

 

How do I set up my alarm system?

After subscribing to a monitoring service, we recommend that you complete the initialization process. Otherwise, complete the setup via the 'Service Settings'.

 

Why am I receiving so many alarm notifications?

If you are receiving too many alarm notifications, ensure that you are correctly switching your security mode while arriving/leaving home. You may also try setting a delay time in the Security Modes settings to gain a buffering period before the alarm sounds. In this interval, you can manually cancel the alarm before the monitoring center is notified.

 

Should I add an Emergency Contact?

In consideration of your safety, we highly recommend you add an emergency contact to get extra protection. We will inform your emergency contacts once the emergency service is activated. Please share your PIN code with your emergency contacts.
 

What should I do if I forget my PIN code?

For security purposes, PIN code won’t be automatically remembered and cannot be changed when the emergency service is activated. If you forgot your PIN code, please contact the monitoring center for help.

 

I have subscribed to the Plus Plan, but the auto-alarm service doesn't work. What should I do?

Test your selected device to ensure that it is correctly set as a trigger device. Switch to 'Away mode ' to test the trigger after configuring the alarm rules. For example, try to approach the selected eufyCam to trigger the alarm system.
