Please note that all eufyCam 3/3C cameras are shipped from the factory with the battery charged to approximately 60%-80%.
eufyCam 3/3C will also send a low-battery alert notification to your smartphone via the eufy Security app when the camera needs to be recharged.
There are several ways for you to charge the camera:
USB charger
HomeBase has one 5V/2A USB charging port. It is highly recommended to charge your camera using the USB port on the HomeBase. Alternatively, you can also use any 9V/2A, 5V/2A, or 5V/1A USB charger to charge the camera.
For eufyCam 3C, it will take approximately 2.5 hours (9V/2A), 6 hours (5V/2A), or 9 hours (5V/1A) to fully charge the battery from 0% to 100%.
For eufyCam 3, it will take approximately 5 hours (9V/2A), 8 hours (5V/2A), or 18 hours (5V/1A) to fully charge the battery from 0% to 100%.
Integrated Solar Charging (only on eufyCam 3)
eufyCam 3 has a built-in solar panel that requires at least two hours of direct sunlight per day to keep the camera constantly charged, and you would never have to manually recharge the camera!
Note: The location of the camera will affect the efficiency of eufyCam 3 camera’s solar charging. It is highly recommended to refer to the installation guidelines in the eufy Security app.
