Generally, you do not need to lift the vacuum up from the floor with the exception of removing it from its charging base to start using the vacuum. Since the WetVac is relatively heavy, it is recommended to move and carry the vacuum by lifting it with the specially designed ergonomic handle instead of using the handle to avoid causing damage. After you lock the main body, you can move the vacuum with the help of its auxiliary wheels.
